This report is out of the UK, but I thought it might be interesting to physics teachers and the video of the girls talking about physics might be of some use in a subject selection talk maybe.

Girls on why they still love physics

A new study has shown that nearly half of all state schools in England are not sending any girls to study A-level physics.

The research by the Institute of Physics (IOP) indicates that the situation is likely to be similar in schools across the UK - and also shows that pupils at all-girls' schools are much more likely to study the subject.
